Drivers when changing cards

Hi guys just bought a 780, hasn't arrived yet,

 

replacing my 580, do I have to delete the old NVidia drivers first or just update them after booting?

 

or are they the same anyway?

Delete them first and clean up the old leftover driver entries after.

Update after booting and then clean install

What I'd do is standard process - Delete all NVidia drivers with Driver Sweeper, shut down the PC, swap out the GPU's, turn on the PC, install the latest 331.58 drivers and you're set.
