Hey everyone,

 

Is it just me or would it be awesome if LinusMediaGroup made a iOS/Android app? Imagine if you could go through the forums and/or watch each daily episode via YouTube all on the app. Hopefully this topic on the forum can get a lot of attention so Linus or someone else at LMG can see this. #MakeItHappen Please : )

for now you can use the mobile site. there used to have tapatalk but it's pretty clunky after the site update

the website is actually very good on a mobile. All they really need to do is expose an api for all the features and anyone could build an app.

An app would be a waste of money and resources that could be better spent on other things.

Yeah it would be a cool idea, but for now we got the website, which is honestly more than enough for what we do, which is posting and reading stuff.

I can't bear the mobile version of this site. Whenever I'm on my phone, I always check the "request desktop version" box on the browser so I get the normal version.

App for video content or something similar might be a thing of future. But not anywhere near future. Reason for it: Floatplane, which is also reason why it won't be near future thing. That service needs much work which is all away from developing full app. And as you might find in other threads talking about this, LMG isn't interested about any halfway solution. When it happens, it will be full feature thing. And that needs time and money, which neither they have atm.
