Looking to get a laptop that has good battery life, portable, and igpu or dgpu is good enough to play casual games that have a similar graphics demand as civ5 and csgo.
So far looked into HP Spectre,Surface Pro 4,Macbook Pro,XPS 13 and Razer Blade Stealth. Budget is kinda lenient but I would like to know your thoughts on what would be the best price to performance buy.

What do you do on your laptop? For web-browsing a chromebook will do.

I would get XPS13

Macbook are overpriced imo

Razer Blade Stealth has no dedicated gpu but if you don't do anything crazy then igpu should be fine for those games

Mac are for content creators. The OS is really well optimised for professional grade software (not games). The device is also very light, has a very good keyboard and trackpad. Keep in mind that content creators dont really want a gaming laptop with all those fancy lighting features that they will probably never use. The price is fair when you think about it. People earn money using this device, which will pay back the machine in no time. So for them it is a very good investment.

For average consumers tho... yes, it is overpriced.

the xps 15 does seem like a pretty good deal but I am not a huge fan of its keyboard and camera but the camera placement isn't really something I care about but it will definitely be in my consideration list.

It for school use and for traveling as I live in BC but I go to school in Ontario so I kinda want something that can do most of my everyday tasks of light gaming and homework. CPU doesn't really matter too much as long as the iGPU is good enough and whats most important is just that I can go most of the day without a charge. As I mentioned before I just want to have a laptop that can play games like civ5 and csgo and if I can get into the more demanding games like rainbow six siege that would be great but not really necessary.

Just look around for some more budget oriented gaming laptops. If you need more help picking one, just start another thread in the laptops subforum.
