A few. I would say its more worth it to upgrade to an i7 4790k rather than switching platforms. Granted the 6700k will still be better than both, it wont really be noticeable between the 4790k and 6700k.

In most games at 1440p, or 4k, 5% just due to the clockspeed increase. If 1080p you should consider a gtx 1060, and might see a bigger increase from the i7, but why not just get an i7 4790?

I'm running at 1080p atm, and I've got the 1070 because even that struggles to get 60fps at max settings in alot of games, so the 1060 would be even worse, @Festive, thats a very good answer I didnt think about that, I wouldnt need to upgrade mobo and ram if I went to the i7 4790k right?,  I did want to upgrade whole PC though.

Upgrading to a 4790k or a 4690k would be a better and more affordable option. You can keep your current mobo and invest in a nice Z97 motherboard for the future and you can keep your RAM.

Only upgrade to 850 EVO SSD, I don't think anything else really needs an upgrade.

So it's not worth the £700 upgrade over what I already have then? I've seen games it's atleast 30fps more? like GTA V for example.

Wouldnt it be bettre to save that £200 over a new motherboard/ram and get the I7 4790k and spend the other £200 and get a GTX 1080?
