Gaming mouse pad

Go to solution Solved by FatalWaffles,

Some mice have difficulty tracking on some surfaces so it might provide a noticeable difference in that respect. I wouldn't say it warrants spending an insane amount on a mouse pad though.

Razer and SteelSeries offer some good "gaming" mouse pads for relatively cheap prices.

no,

masking tape+desk+5 minutes= responsive surface that can be any shape/size you want. Don't go and spend $20 bucks on a glorified doormat.

seriously, I hate that. Labeling something "Gaming" is just an excuse to charge more for something when most of the time it isn't any better or worse than something that isn't labled "Gaming"

Label it as 'working mouse pad' then? Or 'studying mouse pad'? Or maybe 'leisure time mouse pad'? Your pick..

Laser mice can track just fine on a slice of pizza.

Wouldn't advise it though.. kinda messy and pizza is too yummy to waste.

What type of pizza are we talking about here? I've had trouble with my mouse tracking on a sausage, pepperoni, and bacon pizza. A small piece of sausage always ends up blocking the diode.

Marketing is a wonderful thing, isn't it?

How about we just call it a mouse pad instead of putting pointless labels on them who's only purpose is to jack up the price of the product. Also, holy triple post batman!

Haha I know. I'm using tapatalk. It can be a little unresponsive sometimes.

I'm guessing it is because gullible people like us always prefer buying 'gaming' stuffs (gaming mouse, gaming ram, gaming fan, gaming dvd drive, gaming speaker LOL),of course they would wanna sell their products with gaming name on it.
