SSD Causing system crash

I got a new GPU the other day and after installing it my system started crashing... I thought the GPU was the problem but after troubleshooting for a while i disconnected my 2nd SSD (not my windows drive) and the problem seems to have gone away. I plugged the drive back in and it crashed straight away! does anyone know a fix for this?

Check the smart status of the drive. Programs like crystaldiskinfo will do this

how can i do it because if i plug the drive in and boot the system just freezes before i can do anything

Oh. Can you get into BIOS with it plugged in? Does it show the drive correctly?

can you access bios with drive plugged in? is so then try access SMART data with a linux live cd

yeah kinda, it shows it in the boot menu but not the priority list
