Looking at the palit gtx 780 super jetstream, on a website called extremespec.

Do you guys know what this means?

"following requirements to the power: 600 W or more, the presence of the 8-pin and 6-pin power connectors, while on line 12 in the current must be at least 42 A (12 V power line is not less than 504 watts)."

Not sure on the last bit and how my cyberpower 950w psu meets the standards?

Im running a gtx 580 if that helps to work out if this card would be ok too?

Google is your friend. Don't get me wrong i'd love to help, but these type of questions are usually answered by people searching the interwebs and finding the information. And yes, you are covered bigtime on that PSU you got. You could even do it with a 600w if you wanted.

you can run a 780 off of a 450w if you don't overclock, I don't suggest that you do it but it can be done.

I know that its enough power guys, its those details about the 12v power line that I dont really know about

I know that I usually look things up on google, its not the 950w that im unsure about its the other minor details that I don't understand and cant find on the net : )
