Brief Summary of Situation:

So I've had this problem for a few months, I'll get into a game play on a server fine for about 10ish seconds and then have a major 200+ ping lag spike and it is unplayable [tested in Counter Strike Global Offensive], somehow I have recently lowered the spike itself to make other games playable by doing a complete reinstall of windows and wipe of my two hard drives. Yes I know that was probably stupid but I was frustrated and at my last resort. So some online games are playable-ish now such as the MMORPG I play Black Desert Online, I still experience ping problems but I can play. However I have not been able to play an online fps in about 3 months now...

Speed Test Results (As of writing this post):

Ping: 15ms

Download Speed: 102.39 Megabits per second

Upload Speed: 21.31 Megabits per second

Hardware:

Router: Arris TG1672

Wifi Card: Realtek USB 2.0 RTL8811au Wireless LAN 802.11ac

Motherboard: Gigabyte ga-78lmt-usb3

OS: Windows 10

NO VPN

*** Wifi Card is currently set to run on a/n/ac while the router is running 5Ghz a/n

I am also about 15ft from the router and on the 2nd floor (router is on the first floor)

[If any other information is needed let me know and I'll provide]

BEFORE suggesting to change from 5Ghz to 2.4Ghz I've tried, it only makes the problem worse, also yes I do have a lot of devices in my household nearly 20 or more but my pc is the only one with the problem.

Solutions I've tried:

- Restarting the Router

- Powering Off the router and giving it a break

- Installing new drivers [All drivers are currently up to date according to Windows as well as official websites.

- Changing channels of the router for both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz

- Changing the location of the Wifi Card from USB 2.0 and USB 3.0

- Changing the Wireless mode of both Wireless Card and Router

- Switching from 5Ghz to 2.4Ghz and vice versa

- Turning off power management allowing the computer to put the device to sleep

- ***DNS Relay is off

- There are NO virtual servers/port forwarded servers

- Complete Virus scan of PC

- Complete wipe of hard drive and fresh install of windows (This fixed the problem for 2 hours)

- Using another WIFI Card (sorry I do not have the exact model all I can say is that it is definately better than mine)

***The last thing I've tested recently is going into cmd and checking the ping time of my wifi card pinging my router and it usually returns with around a 5ms ping avg with the ping spikes ever 5ish seconds and giving a ping of 200+ usually around the 500 to 900 range

If anyone can tell me if there is any fixes you reccomend that would be great or if the problem comes from hardware tell me what I need to replace. Thank You!!!!!
