So I have just finished building my PC today and I go to install windows of a disk , it installs thenit expands and installs the files , then it says it needs to restart and it turns off but doesn't restart ?

is the cd dvd clean? or do you installing it of a usb drive?

Installing of a DVD and it is clean as I formatted it before I burned windows onto it

try burning it again on slower speeds! then try again if not boot up from a live cd and chek if that is possible.

NOw every time in turn on y PC it powers done after like 5 seconds

looks like a memory cpu psu prob! did you attached evrything right in its place? go into you're bios and look up the temps first. if that is possible.

Just looked and my temps were ridiculous they went up to 89 degrees on my cou then it shut down ? I installed seidon 120mm water cooler ? So I've turnit off and let it cool ? Why have my temps gone so high

maybe a bad placed waterblock chek if the water is running through the tubes do you hear that pump spinning? chek the cables did you plug them correcly... and even so chek if the surface is placed good with the thermal paste on the cpu plate.

Let it cool, then remove the cooling pad, reapply thermal paste and reseat it. Let the machine idle in BIOS before loading Windows to see how high the temps creep up. If they go beyond 40*C I would look into the issue further. If they stay around the 25-30*C mark then you should be OK.

Make sure the cooling pad is definitely making good solid contact with the CPU.

Ok I will do in a bit just installing windows , I was scared for a moment I thought I had broken my computer as this is my first build

BIOS shows bit incorrect temps, but they should stay under 50C if everything is ok. About installing Windows, you should always use empty dvd, not format any. For usb ones formatting is valid solution (no experience on these though). Have you got your iso from valid source? Some of those torrent sources don't work as they should.
