PC Build for 700$

LeonHaker

I am planning to build my very first pc in 2-3 months. I want to use the pc for games, and I am starting to learn game development and programming in general.

This is pc I am planning to build, but I need your help to tell me if this is a good build.

FX-6350(with wraith cooler) ~ 121$

MB AM3+ 970 MSI 970A-G43 ~ 74$

AMD Radeon RX460 XFX ~ 154$

Toshiba DT01ACA100 1TB ~ 50$
Patriot Signarute 8GB 1600MHz ~ 42$

MS INDUSTRIAL Midi Tower Black Widow(Chose this case because it's cheap and has soundproofing which is important to me) ~ 52$

LC-Power 500W LC500H-12 ~ 32$

LG DVD-RW SATA GH24NSD1  ~ 14$

LG LED 21.5" 22MP58VQ-P ~ 142$

This whole build costs about 680-700$.

Don't go FX-6300 if you can help it

And whatever you do, do not use that PSU, it will kill your computer.

Try an XFX TS or Proseries, Seasonic any model, even an Antec Basiq BP would be fine, but not that.

So I would try to grab an i3 of any kind in there, use a different motherboard (it can be as cheap as you want it), use windows without a key if need be (google windows 10 without a key), and maybe don't get the DVD reader so you have a bit more budget room.

Look to see if a GTX 1050 can be had for cheaper, probably not but worth a try.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

Computer having a hard time powering on? Troubleshoot it with this guide. (Currently looking for suggestions to update it into the context of <current year> and make it its own thread)

The 1050Ti in my country is 345$

From 500W PSU's there are:

ZEUS, MS Industrial, NJOY, Chieftec, Cooler Master(around 53$).

I don't really want the i3 because of only 2 cores.

Didn't even think of getting windows key.

Then I'll ditch the reader.

Hyperthreading goes a long way, and the i3-6100 edges out the FX-6300 in multithreaded scenarios and games.

All of those PSUs are terrible :(

Anywhere else you can look for a power supply?

you don't need 500w for a 460/1050 ti , a 420W is even too much, try to find a Jou Jye 420W, it's a Seasonic with another name, but it's cheaper.

you wrote before you will build the pc in 2-3 months, at that time MAYBE new Amd will be released, and new intel too so don't go for the fx anyway, of buy used

and in 2-3 months the prices of the gpus will be different

the i3 is faster  than the FX in like 95% of games

The prices in my country don't change much over time. AMD is probably going to release zen cpu's to compete with high end intel cpu's.

That will work (hopefully)

My country does not have almost every peace of that pc, except the cpu and the monitor.

Go with the I5 6400 and try to build around that

Here are some of our sites:

shop.benchmark.rs

winwin.rs

emmi.rs

I think your best bet will be going with an AMD APU build, not sure if your country has those processors.

i saw the prices.. graphic cards are very expensive.. i think you should buy it used from other countries.. even with shipping they will cost a lot less

but i see this

http://www.winwin.rs/procesor-cpu-fm2-amd-athlontm-x4-quad-core-840-3-10ghz-box-28nm-4756464.html

the price is fair and it's enough for the rx460

i will find other things

Yeah we have APU's, but I don't think they are worth it.

Why would I need a 4gb rx460?

the price difference is very little (19200 4gb, 18600 2gb) , 4 gb are a bit useless on the 460, i know, but you can put on high quality texture without frame drop or slutter, it's a bit more future proof, anyway if you find a 460 2gb for like 16000 (still a very high price for a 460) go for the 2 gb one.

and go for the patriot ram , not the kingston, they are a lot more expensive, and 2x4 gb is better than 1x8 gb, because they will work in dual channel.
