We were working on a thin client solution at work with raspberry pi's and decided not to go with them since they only have 1 display output natively. There are ways to get 3 that is using a HDMI splitter as well as creating a VGA port out of all the pins. I am completely unaware of a 4 display solution unless they will be mirroring.

Would using a video display adapter work? Something that starts at a USB 2.0 and ends with a female VGA?

Heres an example: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1080P-USB-3-0-to-VGA-HDTV-Video-Graphic-Display-External-Cable-Adapter-UK-STOCK-/252609574025?hash=item3ad0b43489:g:yE8AAOSwnbZYEz5s

The raspberry pi 3 only has usb 2 onboad, plus that might need some type of driver
