Why does nobody use Eheim pumps?

They are great pumps and look pretty sexy to me. Why so uncommon?

Probably because the form factor they are in doesn't fit in with what people want their pc's to look like/contain. While I agree they are great pumps, they are more geared towards aquarium and have been adopted to PCs in general. If you wanna use one go ahead, you'll have no problems that I can see if you pick an appropriate one.

Ah yeah I guess form factor matters. Forgot 80% of the few who watercool usually have a pump/res combo you just can't do with Eheims. If you mount the pump solo though, it's pretty much the same size as a D5 with a mod kit.

Also I had an Aquacomputer one before and it was the best pump I ever had lol. Why I was curious as to why not more popular.
