Hey guys! :D as my title says i am currently living in canada. well we just moved here not long ago. and ive been watching some pc building guide on youtube which led me here and im so hyped on buying and building myself my very own gaming pc. :D and as all of you may know boxing day(black friday) is coming and i would like to take full advatage of the deals and discounts. So im just gonna throw some of my questions here and hope for the best! B|

-so do computer parts stores open on boxing day?

-and what stores will you recommend me to buy from like legit. cuz ive been on best buy and they dont display the gtx 1060,1070 etc.

-does amazon.ca or newegg.ca also go on a sale?

-what sites apart from what i mentioned above give good deals regarding on this matter

btw im here at quebec, montreal. thanks again in advance! happy holidays :D

Just so you know, Black Friday and Boxing Day are two totally different days/holidays.

Boxing Day is December 26th - the day after Christmas. Basically EVERY retail store is open on Boxing Day, including Computer Parts stores. It's generally one of the busiest days of the year for a retailer.

Black Friday is the Fourth Friday of November - this year it will land on November 25th. It is also a major shopping day of the year, and every retailer will be open.

Generally speaking, these days coincide with huge discounts and sales.

I would recommend stores like Canada Computers and NCIX. I do not know if either of these stores are available in Quebec. The major "big box" stores like Staples, Best Buy, etc, generally have good sales on during those days, including what's called a "Door Crasher" sale (basically a sale limited to that day only, in limited quantities, with significant discounts, so that you generally have to line up outside the store before it opens to ensure you get the item before it sells out).

Amazon and Newegg will both have Boxing Day and Black Friday sales. NCIX.com and CanadaComputers.com are also good ones to check out.

-so do computer parts stores open on boxing day? Yes

-and what stores will you recommend me to buy from like legit. cuz ive been on best buy and they dont display the gtx 1060,1070 etc. memoryexpress.com, newegg.ca, bestbuy.ca, futureshop.ca, walmart.ca

-does amazon.ca or newegg.ca also go on a sale? yes

-what sites apart from what i mentioned above give good deals regarding on this matter You got to keep an eye open for the good deals, they may say its a great deal, but its regular price. Lots of stores do that, including "CrappyTire" they jack up the regular price then slap on a sale sticker.

Staples.ca is good

The deals are not worth the time or the aggrevation of going to the store and dealing with stupid fucks. So if you find a good deal, best to buy it online. BestBuy.ca has some good deals.

Hey man, thanks for the heads up! i kinda was expecting that to happen and dont want to be involved in any of that mess :D and i will be keeping an eye on those deals 24/7 wether online or the stores around me just as you recommended. BIG THANKS
