I'm curious if I'm.bottlenecking or need to balance out these components. Running most games at 2560x1080. (Ultrawide) preferably max.

I already have storage and monitors.

That is not balanced at all get a 6600k and go with a better GPU.

The psu is awful, and you have a unlocked cpu, with a locked motherboard if anything switch the 6700k out for a 6700, and get a better psu like a seasonic, xfx, or high end corsair/evga one, and a better gpu, the gtx 950 is good for low to medium settings 1080.

EDIT: here is what I would recommend.

 •E5-2670 @2.7GHz • Intel DX79SI • EVGA 970 SSC• GSkill Sniper 8Gb ddr3 • Corsair Spec 02 • Corsair RM750 • HyperX 120Gb SSD • Hitachi 2Tb HDD •

So, the PSU is overkill, but its on sale for $60 right now which is awesome for a EVGA G2 model PSU. I went with a single 8 gb stick of ram because itll do just fune right now and wont fill both dimms like a 2x4 set would. Added a locked CPU to fit with the locked motherboard, also upgraded the GPU to the 1060 6G. That will run ultrawide 1080p at max settings. Its about $60 more than your original build so you could downgrade the CPU to the I5-6500 if you want to cut costs more.

I thought about a 6600k and Z chipset. But honestly a lot of people dont want to overclock, so rather have a locked I7 over an overclockable I5 that you don't actually overclock

No one for any reason should buy a gtx 950. Go with a 6600k and a gtx 1060 6gb.

and step up to a z170 motherboard if youre going to get a k series chip. the k will only add cost if you don't have a motherboard with oc support and a cooler to go with it.
