Hi all,

I'm thinking of upgrading my GPU and have seen that the GTX 1060 is a pretty decent budget card.

As well as getting a new GPU, I also want to buy another monitor. (Currently have 2 1080p monitors) but want another.

So, I'm just wondering, will the GTX 1060 be able to run 3 monitors?

I'll be using the middle one for gaming and the side 2 for other things such as youtube, skype etc.

If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it,

Thanks.

I depends. If you want to game on all 3 monitors at the same time, a 1060 might not be able to properly drive close 4K resolution. However, for a single monitor for gaming and the rest is misc, it'll be more than sufficent in most titles. However, I recommend spending extra $10-20 on a 6Gb model, since the moment you start modding textures or a new game comes out, you WILL run out of VRAM. I have a 970, and AC Syndicate want's more than 4Gb already, and it was "only" in 1080p.

"Should" :(

I hope it'll work, might order them later, even if it wont handle it, atleast I'll have a spare monitor, right?

lol

Sorry I should have said clearly; yes it will because mine does a 1920X1080 and a 3840x2160 which is a lot more pixels than three 1920X1080
