$1000 Render Node

Go to solution Solved by WoodenMarker,

I use 15% CS6 and 85% CC, so I can utilize CUDA.

CC can also use OpenCL. What about an OpenCL render node? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1TFiY

I'm not really sure where to begin with this one. The budget is $1000 USD, it will be used with Maya and After Effects, will run Windows 8 for full compatibility with the computer.

So yeah, any help at all would be appreciated greatly.

It is not

i tiny bit more input would be nice

What would you like?

EDIT: I guess the only thing I can really add is that I'd like it to be relatively small. I'm thinking mATX.

What version of After Effects are you using? Can you use OpenCL/CUDA rendering?

Hmm, that could definitely work. I read somewhere that you should keep the hardware relatively similar to the main machine though, is that true?
