so i recently got this keyboard from newegg, because its only $25 after rebate which i will do, so its literally $25 for MX blacks, which im not sure about. I really only got MX Blacks because i this deal i got was really lucky. just saw on redddit at the perfect time. so how are MX blacks? im a gamer and i don't want reds due to light pressers can actuate a click. also im a student so i will be typing essays so i want to know if these are decent? also the keyboard i got, is it good?

It's a cheap keyboard which happens to have Cherry MX switches......

I would have picked Cherry MX Blues if you wanted more actuation than reds.

That's an amazing deal, I've never seen a Cherry MX keyboard for so cheap.

Those Rosewill boards are really solid too. Not flashy, but nice.

IMO Black switches are a bit too stiff for me and I prefer tactile, but it sounds like it might be perfect for what you're after. Black are certainly among the more quiet switches. Here's a guide that has a chart of the different switches if you're interested.
