UNRAID DUAL GPU CARDS

I have not used unRAID and I am not to familiar with it but I am thinking on giving it a try on my home server. I bought a couple of HD5970's a month ago for cheap and I was wondering if unRAID would see them as 4 separate cards since each card has 2 GPUs on it. Please help me out because I would like to know before I take apart my whole server.

You should be able to dedicate one GPU to each VM as far as I know. Keep in mind though that you'll need to have an IGP to run Unraid itself, or yet another GPU.

Yeah I have a low end gpu I can use for unraid. But what about audio? I know each card has build in audio through HDMI which I can take advantage of through a headless HDMI adapter but would that work for 4 VMs or just 2?

Couldn't tell you. I would assume one audio stream per card would be the limit. One way to find out is simply by trying.
