I own a MSI Z97 SLI Krait Edition motherboard with a I5 4690K. I'm thinking about getting the Samsung 950 Pro but I am wondering if it will get bottle necked if i use the M.2 slot on my motherboard.

Motherboard M.2 Information:  1 x M.2 Key M Socket supports type 2280/2260/2242 storage devices in both PCIE Gen2 x2 & SATA mode

Samsung 950 pro requirement: PCIe 3.0 x 4 (up to 32 Gb/s) NVMe 1.1

Will there be a big bottleneck?

If the drive is faster than your current drive; then it is not a bottleneck even if it might not do 100% of what its capable of.

A fast drive on a slightly less fast but still fast interface, is still fast.
