Haha, I agree! Rather than fixing the game engine. They are adding some not needed features to the games.

Yeah, and this really shows in TF2. I can get into the high 60s and up in my rig but I usually hover in the high 20s-50s for whatever reason on most maps.

Have you tried to cap your fps to 125 or something closer to 90fps and tested if it keeps having similar style dropping (like from 100 to 50).

I will try it, thanks for the suggestion. But there is one thing that doesn't make any sense... All games that are heavy run smoothly on all low settings 1080p. CS:GO is old and not heavy..
