Agreed that it probably is best to stay 6600K yes. You can always do an simple OC if you would notice the CPU power lacking. As for the 6800K, thats no option without going a new platform, so don't think thats what you want.

Going from a 6600K to a 6700K would hardly gain you any FPS. Wait 3 more generations of CPUs then upgrade
