Hey,

so I am looking for a compact projector to purchase on Black Friday.

I don't mean a pico projector, as they come with quite a few disadvantages and a high price tag considering the output. Anyway, I want a medium-ish size one.

I personally have not been able to find a perfect one yet, however I thought I will come on this forum and see if anyone had any suggestions.

Some more personal information, I will require some reasonable lumen output as my room will let in some natural sun light, even with the blinds closed.
The projector will have a projection length of 4 feet-ish (1.3m). I would require a HDMI port, as I would like to connect a chrome cast.

Price: £350 | $430 (USD) | $573 (CAD) |  €400

That is approximately my  budget, feel free to go slightly  over the budget.

Thanks in advance for any help.

PS: I am still new to Forums, so if I posted this in the wrong section my sincerest apologies and feel free to move the thread.

Thanks for the reply.

The JmGo looks like a really nice projector, but is too  high for my budget. However, if I had the money, I most probably would have bought it.

The Sony projector, seemed interesting and I did some further research and sadly only has a max of 37 lumen output.

The Asus only outputs 480p, and is not really designed for entertainment purpose rather at presentation and business purposes.

After LG sponsored that video for LTT I was really interested in a short throw projector, but that price tag is above my budget, as I still a student.

Thank you very much for your suggestion tho.

I was considering the AXAA P700, it is about $439.

It has a 650 Lumen output, and for its size that is incredible, which should allow me to view even with some natural sunlight.

Also, a 1280x720 resolution, which should be perfect for entertainment.

However the company itself is not very large and therefor not reputable enough (imo).

Their  customer support is outstanding tho, as I have contacted them.

Anyway, thoughts?
