Maybe it's the card reader. Is is a SD card or a micro SD card?

Yes, it's 2871 as in the year 2871. I traveled all this way, back in time, just to help you. And you thought your mama lied when she said you were special-_-

Hmm Ok, have you tried other USB ports? sometimes they can be finicky, I can attest to this myself.

Do you have a Micro SD to SD adapter? Try using one of those and a full sized SD card reader, or if you already are use a different Micro SD to SD adapter.

OK, there's really not much more you can do apart from using a program to format the sd card etc... that should be a last resort obviously if there are files you want to get off the SD card.

Darn, there goes my guess. Those little passive adapters break easily. Oh well, best of luck to you!

Hi there :) Welcome to the community!

Could you post the brand and model of both the card and the card reader?

Did you try the card reader on another computer? Are the OS and all the drivers up-to-date?

It may be a compatibility issue between the card and the card reader. I'd contact the manufacturer of the card reader and see if the guys there can suggest something.

Captain_WD.

If this helped you, like and choose it as best answer - you might help someone else with the same issue. ^_^
