Hi, I'm new to this site and I don't know if this is the correct place to ask this. But, I'm having an issue.

I have the ASUS K501UW laptop with a GTX 960m and an i7 6500U.

I don't know why, but it seems that if I'm playing a game (or most recently Heaven Benchmark), the GPU will underclock to 405 mhz on the GPU clock and 800 on the Memory clock. (Overclocking using MSI afterburner or EVGA Precision X does nothing at this point.)

It only underclocks itself after some prolonged use (maybe 10-30 minutes)

The only fix I found was restarting the PC seems will fix this, until it happens again.

It seems to only do this when running games or programs on higher graphics settings.

Anyways, if anyone here has ever heard of this issue I would greatly appreciate some info on this subject.
