Installing old HDd

Well once you are in, you should be able to wipe the OS of the Win8 HDD by formatting it (after taking off personal files if needed). It could no longer boot the Win8 HDD and SHOULD move on into booting the Win10 one.

How do I mark u as best answer and solved ?

I was gona do a hot install but someone told me to boot and f12 for boot menu booted ten and wiped 8 drive

Typical, thought the OP had already tried changing boot order etc, so that's why I suggested a boot USB/dvd to be able to wipe the drive. Shouldn't have assumed I guess, lol

I changed the boot order in bios and it did nothing but f12 lets u manually select a drive which enabled me to wipe the old drive
