I have the sapphire nitro 4G R7 370, supposed to have a clock of 985mhz and 1400 on the memory, but its at 925? Cant seem to overclock it either, the numbers go up in the software but not on the stressers. For instance MSI says it can go to a max of 1125 but only ever says its at 925 no matter what I do, unigine reads 925 too, as does furmark, and trixx says my card can go to 1700 but still everything is reading 925. So my card is like, not budging off 925, I know it can OC as I had it OC'd before.

have to tried to remove the power increase limitation option in msi afterburner ? Without the ability to bump the voltage to the core, you can manage the current flow to the card by using the power limit. Depending on how aggressive you are with it, you can throttle the clock speed when applying this setting. By sticking at +16%, core clock speed is at 1050MHz

Have you tried completely removing and reinstalling the drivers? What are the temperatures for the card while under load (Furmark, Unigine, etc)?

I haven't actually, might have to.

I take the power limit to max. Voltage is locked for my card.

You should be able to find the current revision of your BIOS in your system's BIOS/UEFI setup, under system information (or similarly worded heading). What model is your motherboard?

I had a similar problem with my R9 280.  It has a factory OC to 1172MHz from the BCLK of 950MHz.  When I need the power, I push it to 1150MHz.

During the last game that I played where I needed the GPU power, I noticed my clocks revert to 950MHz by paying attention to a  massive FPS drop in game.

I never figured out why this was happening, but I found that if I restarted the PC and then set the clock, it would stick.

I use Crimson to OC.

Weird, I use either AFB or Trixx. Btw its fixed now, everything is reporting 1125. Gonna run furmark all night to make sure its stable again.
