Well 990FX chipset isnt realy gonne give you much benefits besides SLi support.

If you dont care about dual gpu setups, then the 970 chipset will suite you just as well.

 

Asus 970 pro gaming / aura is the best 970 chipset board you can get today.

Well I'm gonna start out with one GPU such as the rx480 or gtx1060 and later get a second one.
