Overclocking the 6700k

I have a 6700k in a Gigabyte z170x Gaming 5 motherboard.

 

When I tried to go into the bios settings and went into the frequency settings, i was unable to set the base clock multiplier, and the auto overclock was all i could do. (Or maybe I'm just a complete novice when it comes to overclocking)

Cooling the cpu is a noctua nhd15s

 

I was unable to get a stable system at 4.6 GHz, and the temps just hovered around the stock ones.
