Triple OS & Propose Rig

well I want to spend no more then $3,000.00 to build this system but less is always better obviously.

 

I want to do a triple propose system running 3 operating systems on there own small sad's with a universal massive storage drive in a small early portable set up. going to run macOS Sierra hackentosh for daily web browsing/email, iTunes, & Video Encoding. on the next ssd I want to run windows 10 for virtual 3d world djing and photo editing. and the final ssd I want to run steam os for my gaming.  all the is desighned to replace my early 2011 2.0Ghz 4gb 15 inch macBook Pro.

 

at first I'm going to use my 55" 1080p tv as a monitor then evenly upgrade to a 55" 3d 4k uhd tv.

 

I am looking at preifrials in the price as well. I do have a Logitech M570 trackball I plan to reuse.

 

my Mac is so dated by now I can't encode high resolutions and gaming is very limited.

Don't get a 980ti, get a 1070 or 1080. What are all of those silver stone things?

980 ti is for macOS requirements. doesn't support 10 seres yet. Silverstone items include a case, sfx psu, system pwm fans, slim liquid cpu cooler, and a bluray slot load.

well I was choosing a 10tb for the reason of space for encoding 4k videos, music for djing, and my iTunes library.

 

I went with the Silverstone ftz01 because it comes in silver and is small so I could take it with me to lan party easily. and because it is a mini silverstone slim case some my choies had to fall inline. for example Silverstone is the only one I know that makes a 700w sfx psu, then the slim pwm fans for the case, then a slim closed loop water cooler, and a slim bluray drive. so those reasons I went with those items so far but I totally could go other ways. but finding small form factor its cases with 3x 2.5" and 1x 3.5" mounting options aren't quiet easy. but thats why I wanted advice here. so I can make the best choices I can.

380t is a nice case but not much smaller or lighter then a mid tower ate case. and if I did that id think about like just doing a windows 10 build in a bitfeinix aurora chassis.
