For my pertinent links to guides, reviews, and anything similar, go here, and look under the spoiler labeled such. A brief history of Unix and it's relation to OS X by Builder.

If you're okay with just a black cooler without the red, I would look at the Be Quiet! Dark Rock 3 or Cryorig H5 Ultimate for mid-range. If you want to go all-out with a dual finstack cooler, get the Cryorig R1 Ultimate or Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3.

.... he manually added the CPU to the PC Part Picker list and that didn't auto-filter the motherboards. Strange to do that tbh.

... Wait, that motherboard is still in the list.

B150 motherboards work fine with Skylake CPUs. Is there something particularly special about a 6600k?

if you want to overclock a K version i5, if you are not gonna to do that, it would make more sense to buy the non K version and go with a B150 board. also going with a z170 board will allow the OP to OC when needed and upgrade to a i7 6700k when needed and OC on that too instead of buying a new MOBO
