SOLVED! i was planning on getting a gtx 680 but then i was comparing it to some multi card set up and i saw a Raedeon 7770 ghz and i was wondering if i can run 3 in crossfire or only even numbers? also i was gonna get a 750w PSU and i was wondering if i would need to get a more powerful PSU and if so what wattage? Also what is a good Brand or more importantly what is a bad brand of graphics cards?im looking at an asus hd raedeon 7770 ghz edition in three way crossfire if i can do that compared to a EVGA gtx 680 superclocked signature 2. im gonna run them at 1920x1080

I don't think you can Xfire lower end GPUS in triple mode. 7870 only supports 2 so i can only assume 7770 is 2 as well.

750w psu is good for 2 gpus and you should probably get a Sapphire 7970 (3gb vram) or EVGA 680 (4gb) depending on how many monitors you're gonna run and at what resolution. 7970 performs better than 680 for gaming.

Sapphire 7970 toxic/vapor (6gb) for mega resolution.

1 monitor 1920x1080 and i dont want to spend $500 on a graphics card when i can get close to double the performance in less than 3\4 the price

The radeon 7770 only supports 2 way CrossfireX. Generally speaking a single more powerful graphics card will give you a more stable gameplay that running a multi-card setup. Also what resolution are you going to be gaming at? Your power supply should be more than good enough based on what you want to have. There isn't really a "bad" brand of graphics card manufactures nowadays it's really just up to their customer service and how they treat you.

^ what you mean by close to double the performance? compare to GTX680?

And HD7770 only support 2 way CFX.
