Only in applications that the G4400 isn't optimal at. They're fine together though for general usage.

Almost certainly. A Pentium isn't a reasonable gaming cpu, at least for AAA titles. If you're trying to play easier to run stuff like CS:GO or Garry's Mod you should be fine.

If it's not urgent I'll suggest you to wait for kaby lake. One of the pentium support hyperthreading or get an i3. Honestly a dual core without hyperthreading is going to restrict you a lot these days, but take my advice with a grain of salt. Just wanna give a heads up with all the new chips coming from intel and amd early next year.
