Hya!

So i was wondering: Is it really worth upgrading to a Corsaor K70 lux keyboard? I currently use a K30 Raptor which has rubber domes and i was wondering if it is really worth upgrading to a mechanical keybaord (which i am considering)

Im using the raptor for about 2 years and i have found nothing wrong with its performance, So should i just wait till this board shows sign of age? or should is consider upgrading? I have never used Mechanical keyboards so i have no idea what the benefits are.

Thanks!

Go to the closest local store, ask there to try out some mechanical and then you'll understand if u need it. The only way to find out - try it yourself. The need of mechanical kb is kind'a subjective.

Problem is: There are no storesaround here i can go to which have Keyboards on display :')

Okay, so you need a 'final' opinion on this question.

I bought my tt poseidon (cherry mx brown) long time ago and I still have no problems or regrets with it. If you have money to comfortably spend and you are sure that you won't regret it anyways - get it. The best switches to start with are cherry mx browns.

Yes, there is a difference, but it's individual.

Personally I got my first mechanical keyboard and fell in love with it, its true its subjective but I've never looked back. A good mechanical keyboard just feels more responsive and solid than a membrane keyboard most of the time. Though the key switch is quite a big choice too, you could always buy a mechanical switch tester if you didn't want to spend allot of money on a keyboard upfront. I use Cherry mx blacks, they're very responsive but offer no tactile feedback unless the switch is bottomed out (Fully depressed), mx blacks and reds are good for gaming (nice quick response time) but I prefer browns or blues for typing due to the tactile switch!

Best of luck! I hope you like our knew keyboard if you get one :)

just try some out when you're on a trip or something if you're really not sure atm. like @paprikman said, its not really needed so buying one can probably wait a month or 2, unless you can spend money comfortably then you could just go with it. worst case you throw it on marktplaats or ebay or facebook or something for 10% under the price you bought it for with the receipt.

Mate I just received an Ajazz AK33 RGB from aliexpress* and it is an amazing little keyboard for the price.. Don't go brand name the first time unless you can get it cheap. If you want to get it cheaper they make a non RGB option. There's plenty of good mech kb's on aliexpress. Just change the search results to number of orders and you'll see the ones that have the best reviews. I'd say switch "enthusiasts" woul'dnt rate the switches in it but honestly they are fine (I got the blues and they are a tad noisy at night).

Heres another good option if you want a full size.. https://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?catId=0&initiative_id=AS_20161019033208&SearchText=mechanical+keyboard

If nothing else it give you an idea what using one is like for cheap.

I have the same keyboard and I love it.  I got the blue backlight with the black switches for 36 USD off ebay.  The switches are responsive and fairly quiet.

lol I'll have to look on amazon or newegg. Shipping from china to where I live is way too expensive not to mention I'll have to pay 2% tax on it when it gets here .-.

Man upgrade to the RGB.. I bought a Logitech G810 while my ajazz was in shipment (got it super cheap so I figured I'd sell one of them after trying both) and It has nice RGB lighting but this Ajazz craps all over it!! So vivid and much more lighting control options  over the G810

I really wanted that one, but I couldn't find one for a good deal at the time.  $36 was too good to pass up
