so i wanted to know how harmful links can be i was typing really fast and forgot a space between best buy  so i typed bestbuy in google search and it brought me to a page were it said you have a virus we have your ip and other things i hit ok to get out of rite away i cleared my history and did a windows defender scan and it told me i have nothing wrong with my pc i just wanted to make sure this is true

Also Install an antivirus with built-in link scanner so you know which sites are safe before even visiting. But common sense is always the key.

Those websites are usually made by Indian tech support scammers and they just want you to call them and so they can convince you to buy their "antivirus" thingy. Just don't buy anything fro them. It's a scam.
