*I don't know where to post that*

Hello!

OK so I was planning to go at a computer shop to make overclock by a professional my CPU (i7-6850k) and GPU (Gigabyte 1080 Xtreme gaming) at the highest but stable overclock. I would like to know if it is worth it and if I will see a little difference.

--I'm not doing it myself because I'm afraid of messing up--

Again, why?

Because with just a little research you can do it yourself.  As an added bonus, you will learn more about your computer than you will have paying someone to do it.

Overtime, overclocks will change a bit.  If you handled the overclock yourself, you will be familiar with what you need to do in order to keep the OC in top condition.

1) Is he charging you?

2) you'll have to keep going to him as you gauge the stability, if he doesn't have you do that then he's barely OCing at all.

3) What cooler do you have?

It's like we're reading off the same page.  Must be TRUTH speaking.  Haha.

How is it that you have purchased/built these rigs and haven't done a little research to learn how to push them a bit?

You've got some pretty premium parts.  Learn how to take advantage of them instead of letting a "professional" take advantage of you.  :D

I admit that I can follow a lot of guides to overclock, but again, even with that I'm afraid of messing up

No fear you can clock your core to 4.5 ghz and even if your card goes unstable it wont suffer any damage its pretty much trial and error

I can send you some great guides and even help you every step of the way.  I'd hate to see anyone pay a "professional" to do this.
