Headset help

I can't get my PX24s to work on my PC and I can't for the life of me find a setup guide on youtube. I went into control panel and everything but can't figure it out, the mic is the problem the audio comes through into the headset but the mic isn't working.

It has 1 jack so im using an old splitter from my old astros to convert it into 2, got the headphone in headphone and mic in mic, it works not but there is CRAZY bad echo (not mic monitoring)

Ok figured out the echo is because im a dingus and left on the " listen to device " under control panel, but now there's still static. Here is an audio clip, quality is horrible to keep file size under 20MB limit.

It looks like the hissing is caused by the splitter since when the headset isn't plugged in OBS is still registering a mic and when recording it still hisses but the splitter has never been used before.

Ok its plugged into my back ports on my MOBO now hissing is less but still there
