Razer Kraken Mic Issue

Hello fellow people.

I have had my razer kraken headset for around 6 months now and from time to time, my microphone for the headset stops working.

I thought this was a problem with my laptop thus me buying a new pc.
I bought a Alienware Alpha R2 i7 but the issue stayed the same.
Just like last time, i can hear everything perfectly but other people on skype or teamspeak cant hear me talking, not even my computer is picking up that i have a microphone plugged in to my monitor.

RMA them and get your money back and get something better.

Or just get a new microphone tbh, the kraken headsets are notorious for crips and over time shorts in the wire. Heck the funny thing is when I had a Karken headset about 3 years ago first thing that went was the mic.

It was never your computer it was your headset

and if your speakers work in your headphones, which they do, just get a cheapo clip mic like this as a temp

they're saying to rma your headset. it should still be under warranty, and if you get your money back, get better headphones

I love this.  Instead of swapping headsets (or even testing the headset in another computer?!) you just go and buy a new computer. "Mom, the bathroom light's out! We gotta move!" -OP probably.
