You are going to need more than 120 GB's of storage unless you only play 1 game.

A bit less graphics card performance (overclock it and you'll be fine) but you will regret getting a 3GB card.. Also made the motherboard ATX so it fits in with the case better in terms of aesthetics.

The SSD is a boot drive, I have a spare 500gb HDD to use for game storage.

I would still get the 3 GB 1060. It does perform significantly better.

Ehhhh, I'd rather not run out of VRAM than have better performance. @GollyGee can choose whichever they want.

Most of the games I'm playing don't need a ton of VRAM, so I think I'll go with the 1060 3Gb.

Also, is it worth it to get a 240GB SSD for better value, rather than the current 120GB SSD?

Yes 120 GB SSD's get filled up pretty fast.
