I have a gigabyte mobo (ga-880gm-usb3) and every time I overclock the CPU, the motherboard says "system has experienced boot failures due to overclocking press del for setup, to continue press any other key" and after it says that it dials back the overclock evrytime !!!!

HELP ME

specs

MOBO: Gigabyte GA-880GM-USB3 (using stock AMD heatsink)

CPU: AMD Phenom II x6 1035t

GPU: Msi HD 7850

PSU: Aerocool xprededor 650gm 80+ gold

Hopefully you know the difference between overclocking a CPU with a locked multiplier versus one with an unlocked multiplier as you're running a non-black edition CPU.

Lol, it will work, but that bios is more than a couple years old! Imagine how mad you be if bought a mobo now and the BIOS was like that.

I don't think any AMD boards with the 800 series chipset ever had a UEFI BIOS and the fancy user interface. Heck I have the highest tier chipset, the 890FX and I still have a traditional BIOS.
