I wanted to hear your suggestions on a decent headset with microphone around $40. All I care for is good quality. Is it better to buy the headset with an integrated microphone or buy the headset and microphone separate?

Oh and please use amazon US prices <3, thanks!

If you can stretch it to 49.99, the HyperX cloud stinger is insane. I have one and it is SUPER comfortable, audio quality is excellent, and the mic is good.

40? Might have to stretch it to 50. Get the Logitech G230's or G430's. Old gamer favorites.

Headphones and a separate mike usually works better. As for a Headset, G430: http://pcpartpicker.com/product/FWNp99/logitech-headphones-981000536

Or maybe the 230 if you can't step that extra $10: http://pcpartpicker.com/product/nMLypg/logitech-headphones-981000541

Those are much more expensive if you are on a budget. they're kinda like the X99 platform of headphones. better performance and a much higher cost. for you, a headset is best
