The Hyper X Cloud 2's have a removable mic, they also come with a carrying case/pouch that also has a pocket to keep the stuff that comes with it (Mic, Airplane thing it has like the 2 aux port thing, and mic hole cover thing) It also has a braided cable and is pretty sturdy (I may or may not have thrown it at my wall because i lost a promotion game)

Yep, i also own the cloud 2s. Very solid set of headphones, but mine don't work with my phone and ive seen people comment that they cant get them to work with there either, so i have a hard time recomending it for a travel pair.

Yeah, its a weird issue for sure. Works fine using the sound card, or directly plugging it into my laptop or desktop or whatever, but as soon as i plug them into my iphone (i have had 2 iphones since i got these headphones) the sound gets very distorted, and cuts out, and there is lots of popping and crackling. Ive read that if you plug in the headphones with the mic plugged in then it works, but i havent bother to test it ever.

Yeah honestly i get the popping and crackling as well sometimes when i use it on my phone and controller but i thought it was just because of me throwing them. They work fine on the sound card with me as well

Well it would be nice if they worked without any problems but i will look into them

I still recommend the ATs I recommended earlier, I haven't heard a bad thing about them.
