How do i read CPU temperatures

Go to solution Solved by darkwizard06,

If the software you are using is actually outputting a correct cpu temperature, then get the average of all cores, then that is your average cpu temperature.. Don't add them all.

Hi,

I'm currently running a streaming server which is using an AMD FX-6300, it is showing 6 different temperatures (im assuming its for each core?) and im not sure if i 'add' the individual temperatures from each core to equal a rough estimate of its total temp'? Could anyone tell me how this works?

Here is a photo:

@mrHoot1 I'm fairly certain that's the difference between the actual temperature and the max temperature for your CPU.

On AMD'S website it says the max/safe is 70*c or 80*c
