7" Android tab with SIM card slot, Do they still exist?

Hey everyone.

 

I'm trying to find a 7" tab with a SIM card slot to be used as a head unit in my car, but I just can't seem to find anything!

 

any help would be highly appreciated.

 

PS I'm in the UK if that changes things.

u can prob find a galaxy tab 7 for ur carrier or r u wanting new?

LG v410.   4G LTE works great, I get 50mbit/sec download, 20mbit/sec upload on T-Mobile in the middle of nowhere.   Not the fastest machine though, but it works.  I've flashed with Cyanogenmod 13.

I am happy to buy second hand, but new would be better. I will have a search for some tab 7's though and see what they are like.

well ebay has one and said to be brand new. tried hunting for amazon new but none says

9.7", not 7" on that one. 

 

The 7" tablet market is pretty bare :(.  v410, Google Nexus 7 Refresh, not many good options :(.  The v410 needs more RAM unfortunately.

yeah i hope he didn't go rush and buy that one, he wanted a 7" , 9.7 would be way to big for Head Unit

Probably not, only if performace is really bad as standard.

if u use as a head unit i would root and use Viper4Android with Dolby Atmos, i use a HTC M8 as a main mp3 player and it sounds great

Closest thing I can think of is the Shield Tablet, but afaik only the OG ones offered a LTE version (with SIM card) and those could be hard to come by... plus that's 8", not 7"

Looks like it will have to be that lenovo, unless I just hotspot from my phone everytime... Not sure if that would be annoying after a while though.
