Ssd not working with a computer

Hi,

So when I turn on my computer, it boots up and goes through the blue windows flag screen and then after that the screen just goes black. I tried putting in a different ssd and it booted up just fine into Windows. I did this because on my asus z170-e motherboard, there was a red led near boot device on the motherboard. In addition, I put this drive (the drive that was originally in the computer that was not booting into windows) in a different system and it booted up into Windows just fine. So I really don't know what I can do now to get this ssd working in my machine. Thanks.

It's very strange and because of this I don't think the drive is corrupted since it booted up windows on a different pc just fine. Also, when that drive is plugged in, there is a solid red led light near the boot device section on my motherboard.

I would try using a different cable

Have you tried this SSD on any other machine at all?

Yeah.

Yeah I tried it in a different pc and it worked just fine. @AlisterMultimedia

I'd recommend using the same cables from that PC or new ones like @Implosivetech recommended then see

Yeah, another thing is that I am currently doing an rma on my pover supply right now bc it is making weird noises
