change the PSU to Seasonic - M12II, M12II EVO, S12II. I personally have the S12II, very quiet and good PSU.

I currently play PUBG, help me get chicken dinner xD

okay thanks. I would like to know how good is gtx 960 than 950. Is there a huge difference in performance?

Around 10-15%, the only reason to a buy a 960 right now is if you can get one for ~$150-160. If you want significant performance differences go with an RX 470 w/c has better cost per frame for $190-200.

What is your budget?

Does this budget include perpherals like monitor, keyboard and mouse?

What are you going to do with the PC?

What games are you gonna play on it?

CPU: Intel Core i5-6600k 4.4GHz | Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX Z270F Gaming | Cooler: Cryorig H7 | RAM: GSkill Ripjaws V 8GB 2x4 3200 MHz | GPU: MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X | PSU: Seasonic G-550w 80+ Gold Certified, Semi Modular | Storage: 250GB Samsung 850 EVO, 1TB Western Digital Caviar Blue | Case: NZXT S340 Elite (Black/Red) | Monitor: BenQ XL2411 144hz | Keyboard: Corsair STRAFE RGB Cherry MX Silent | Mouse: Corsair M65 Pro RGB

I'd like to make a Chemistry joke, but all the good ones ARGON. *nudgenudge *winkwink

I'll just post here instead of making a new thread.

I too, probably like most new members, come seeking approval of a build.

A little bit better than OPs config and bordering on "not budget," but with a few blanks I'd appreciate input on.

  • Intel i5 6600K
  • ASUS Z170-A motherboard
  • Corsair RM650X
  • 16 GB of probably Kingston hyperx Fury RAM
  • Storage: I am looking for an affordable and hopefully good-looking 120GB SSD. Probably again Kingston (Savage maybe)
  • GPU: Right now the GTX 1060 is looking like the best option for what I aim to do, and the ASUS 3GB dual-fan aftermarket card is what I'm planning on getting.

As far as the GPU goes, I was just wondering if the extra 3GB of VRAM is worth the $60 price bump on Amazon. (And Newegg's price is higher.) Also if there's anything else you feel I need to know I'd appreciate it. Thanks

don't hijack others' threads; you can make your own.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W
