Home Server / Media Server

Go to solution Solved by lufihengr,

This is with NO OS, because there are viable linux OS's that will do fine. And also no optical drive.

Im wanting to build a new home server It will be streaming media to a wireless TV as well as being central to my LAN network and need at least 6tb of storage. I will need as many Ethernet ports as possible and if a bluetooth solution is viable as well it would be great.

Form Factor M-ITX unless my requirements dont fit inside a M-ITX.

Budget is absolute maximum £800 but if this is possible for about £600 it would be awesome.

Thank you.

Do you have a preference over AMD/Intel?

And what sort of redundancy do you need? Or will just 2 3tb drives be fine?
