I would go for the R9 280x dcu2 card. It's the most expensive, but the cooler is quiet and can overclock well. It's also only dual slot compared the matrix triple slot cooler.

Great design same as GTX 780 but so PHAT on the other GPU forgot what its called :(.........its the 7970 -_-

The Asus Cooler is the one I'd choose and Lets face it just say you live in the UK since your referring to POUNDS £

I really wanna choose between the ASUS or XFX
Really I'd recommend the ASUS due to the Cooler being quite impressive on the GTX 780 as well

XFX has done a nice job with cooler design

Choosing ASUS

I'd prefer Dual slot rather than triple slot looks kinda PHAT!* and better if you're running in the future another card when you have this type of motherboard for cleaner airflow

This motherboard is just an example where you can have a this config

PCIE 1x

PCIE 16x (Asus R9 280x)
PCIE 1x   (Asus R9 280x cooler covers 1x slot)

PCIE 1x   Free airflow below card

PCIE 8x   (potential sli/crossfire x with another r9 280x)

PCIE 1x   (potential cooler slot)

PCIE 8x

True audio that is: 10% of your cpu being saved + much more realistic audio

CPU: Ryzen 5500 GPU: RX 6800 RAM: DDR4 3200MHZ 48GB (2x8+2x16 GB)  MOBO: MSI B450-A PRO Display: 4k120hz with freesync premium.

The ASUS ROG MATRIX Radeon HD 7970 Platinum is the fastest, best cooling, and highest overclocking of these options. I love the new XFX style but would never buy an XFX card due to their historical lack in quality compared to other manufacturers like Sapphire, ASUS, MSI, HIS, and Gigabyte.

Intel Core i7-8700K @ 4.8GHz | Corsair H110i GTX | EVGA RTX 2080 XC | Asus ROG Maximus XI | Intel M.2 nVME SSD 1TB | Samsung 850 EVO 2X2TB | 32GB G.SKILL Trident Z 3200MHz CL14 RAM | EVGA SuperNova GS 1050W | Kept cool & quiet in a Fractal Design Define R5 Window with all Noctua fans
