Yep, you buy the game from a reseller (the list is on the game-page of G2A), you buy it and you have to wait a max time of 5 minutes, you get your code and depending on what platform you use or what type of code it is (can be PS, XBOX, Steam, Origin, uPlay) you'll get a code. Use that on the platform you use and it activates for you to download.

You buy from a user, who is either selling an in game item like a weapon skin or a game key/Steam gift link. If you buy a "product key" version of the game, you get the "key" to redeem into your game client. If you buy a Steam gift, you get a gift link to redeem to your Steam account.
