Screen flicker issue?

Hey guys. I've been having this problem ever since i built my own PC. The screen randomly flickers. I've used my monitor for a few weeks with my laptop and there was no issue. It's only when it's connected to my desktop. I recorded a video so you guys can see. I am guessing that it's probably my GPU but I have no idea what causes it and how to isolate the problem.

Here are my specs:
Intel i7-6700k, OC to 4.6GHz
Asus GTX 1070 FE
Asus Z170 ProGaming
Corsair LPX 16GB RAM

 

I am running Windows 10 Pro.

1. Try to use the igpu and see if it still happens

 

2. Try a different cable
