Alc 1150 5.1 problem

Hi guys so i have this issue with my audio, i have a gaming mobo the msi Z97-G45 Gaming with the Alc 1150. I have installed windows 10 and i want 5.1 audio but for some weird reason i can select only 2 channel audio, there is no 5.1 option or 2.1 but only 2. I have the latest drivers and my audio output is the optical cable to a pioneer receiver. Can someone help me please?

this is something that I remember from years ago, but SPDIF and Toslink aren't capable of outputting uncompressed 5.1 sound, only stereo - you need some sort of Dolby or DTS encoder

are Realtek's chips even Dolby certified?!
